The 4.6L V8 produces 205 hp and 280 ftlb of torque. Don't let the V8 scare you, on my last trip I was getting 26+ mpg (there's a K&N air filter installed), which was over 400 miles on the 16 gallon tank. This motor takes regular 87 fuel, unlike other v8's. This is a very safe vehicle and has front and side air bags along w. traction control and abs.
