For sale, Pontiac Sunfire white color, 1998 model year. Located at Iowa – Dubuque. The NADA value of this car is approximately $3800.00 in running condition and I am hoping to get around $1000.00 for ours as it sits. This car has approximately 100,000 miles but the odometer flashed sometimes and the miles on it changed. Sometimes it read around 80,000 and sometimes it read around 100,000. I'm unsure which numbers it showed are accurate. It has a 2.4L motor that I think is bad. It made a loud knocking sound the last time that it was driven and will NOT start. I have removed the battery but can hook one up to show what works. The front brakes and rotors are basically new. I had just put them in. The rims are aluminum and the tires are in great condition. The two front and two rear are each sets of two and have a lot of tread on them. The convertible top works fine but the seals are in need of some attention. Because of leaky seals, the car has a slight musty smell but it can be cleaned as we had done so ourselves over the years. The radio has a cd player. This is a one owner car, we have owned it since 1998. There are some minor things wrong with the interior, one seat wont recline / small cigarette hole in one of the rear seat cushions / etc., but over all this was a very reliable car.
